Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Yaboypwash LLC, doing business as “YourLifeMatch,” collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use the YourLifeMatch Platform.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, avatar.
  • Profile information you choose to provide.
  • Freedom Profile responses: location preferences, lifestyle preferences, income range, budget, family preferences, relocation timeline, work status, and goals.
  • Watchlists and saved destinations.
  • Search activity and comparison activity within the Platform.
  • Usage analytics (e.g., pages viewed, features used).
  • Device information and browser information.
  • IP address information. Your IP address is visible to our hosting provider whenever you load a page, and we use it to estimate your approximate location (city, region, and country) as described under Location Detection below.
  • Subscription information: plan, status, and billing identifiers (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Communication preferences.

How We Use Information

  • Generate personalized recommendations and Freedom Scores.
  • Personalize your experience on the Platform.
  • Improve our algorithms and models.
  • Improve the functionality of the Platform.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Analyze usage to improve our products.
  • Estimate your approximate location so cost-of-living comparisons can be pre-filled with your current city.
  • Send account notifications.
  • Process subscriptions and payments.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Location Detection

Our comparison tools show how your cost of living would change if you relocated. To do that we need a starting point — the city you live in now. So that you do not have to enter it manually, we estimate it from your IP address.

How it works. Your IP address is necessarily visible to our hosting provider, Vercel, in order to deliver the page to you. Vercel resolves it to an approximate city, region, and country at their edge network and passes only that resolved location to us. We then match it to the nearest city in our cost database and pre-fill it for you.

What we do and do not keep. We do not store, log, or transmit your raw IP address, and we do not use it to identify you. Only the resolved location is used, and it is saved in your own browser's local storage for up to 24 hours so the page does not have to re-detect on every visit. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

It is an estimate, and you can override it. IP-based location is approximate and is often wrong for visitors on a VPN, a corporate network, or a mobile connection. Where we can only match your region rather than your city, we tell you which city we substituted. Any city you select yourself always takes precedence over the detected one and is remembered for future visits.

No third-party geolocation provider. This detection uses only our own hosting infrastructure. We do not send your IP address to any external geolocation service.

Data Storage & Retention

Your information is stored using secure databases, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication services, and analytics systems. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Third-Party Services

We work with authentication providers, payment processors, analytics services, hosting and infrastructure providers, and email/communication providers. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information and to process it only as necessary to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Our hosting provider necessarily processes your IP address in order to serve pages to you, and derives the approximate location described under Location Detection. We do not use any third-party geolocation service.

International Transfers

YourLifeMatch operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect data transferred internationally.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export (port) your personal data, and to manage your communication preferences. You can exercise these rights through our Data Request & Deletion Policy or by emailing privacy@freedomos.app. We respond within legally required timeframes.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals below the age of majority, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will communicate material changes to you via the Platform or by email.
